PROTECT AVA

Ava (DOB 3/19/19, 5yrs) is a beautiful Bengal tiger who arrived at Tiger Creek with her sisters, Rosie and Elouise. Ava and her sisters are what some call “surplus cubs.” No, that doesn’t mean there are “too many tigers”—it means they were used as photo props for tourist attractions. Once they became too large for cub-petting experiences, they were no longer wanted and found themselves without a home. 

Thankfully, Ava now lives a life free from exploitation, with plenty of space to roam, play, and just be a tiger! She enjoys enrichment activities, from splashing in her pool to rolling around in new scents. She’s also incredibly curious and loves watching her keepers work—especially if there’s food involved!
