How You Can Help Tigers, Lions, and Lemurs in Captivity
🐅 Tigers: Support AZA-accredited zoos and sanctuaries that focus on conservation and ethical breeding programs. Be sure to do your research and avoid pseudo-sanctuaries that exploit animals for profit.
🦁 Lions: Captive lions help researchers learn more about their natural behaviors, which leads to better conservation efforts. Support programs that promote ethical, humane treatment and avoid facilities that allow cub-petting or canned hunting.
🐒 Lemurs: Lemurs are highly social and intelligent, so they require proper care in captivity. Ethical facilities focus on group housing, enrichment, and conservation education—support these organizations!

How You Can Help Wildlife in the Wild
🌲 Protect Habitat – Deforestation is one of the biggest threats to tigers, lions, and lemurs. Support sustainable products and companies that do not contribute to habitat destruction.
🛍️ Choose Sustainable Palm Oil – Tigers lose vital habitat due to palm oil plantations. Look for products with Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) labels to make eco-friendly choices.
📬 Buy Save Vanishing Species Stamps – The USPS Save Vanishing Species Stamps help fund conservation efforts for tigers and other endangered species!
🚫 Say No to Trophy Hunting – Lions are often hunted for sport or their body parts. Support organizations that fight against trophy hunting and illegal wildlife trade.
🌍 Support Conservation Efforts – Programs like Kenya's Northern Rangelands Trust (NRT) work to protect lions and help local communities live in harmony with them.
🐾 Prevent Human-Wildlife Conflicts – As humans expand into animal habitats, conflicts arise. Support programs that teach non-lethal ways to protect livestock from predators.

How You Can Help Native Wildlife
🦉 Support Local Wildlife Rehabilitators – Injured or orphaned wildlife need expert care. If you find an injured animal, contact a licensed wildlife rehabber instead of trying to care for it yourself.
🚮 Reduce Waste & Recycle – Trash can harm animals in the wild. Reduce plastic use, recycle, and properly dispose of waste to keep habitats clean.
🚗 Watch for Wildlife While Driving – Many animals, especially at dawn and dusk, are hit by cars. Drive carefully and be mindful of wildlife crossing areas.
🐾 Create Wildlife-Friendly Spaces – Plant native flowers and trees, leave out fresh water, and avoid using harmful pesticides to create a safe space for local wildlife.

The Power of Education & Awareness
One of the best ways you can help is by spreading awareness!
📣 Tell Others! – Share what you’ve learned with friends and family. The more people understand the importance of conservation, the bigger the impact we can make together!
💙 Visit & Support Ethical Sanctuaries – Your visit to Tiger Creek supports lifelong care for rescued big cats and education programs that inspire action.
Together, we can protect wildlife, their habitats, and the future of conservation, even after your visit to our sanctuary. Every effort—big or small—makes a difference! 🐾💚
