PROTECT SITAARA

Sitaara is our youngest tiger on site and our most recent addition. Sitaara means “morning star” in Urdu/is of Hindu origin, and she was named this because of the Christmas Star that occurred the night before her arrival! Sitaara came to us after being seized from a private owner by the Grand Prairie Animal Control, near Dallas. We were told the individuals had hidden her under the porch of their house tied to a chain and was only fed domestic cat kibble. Because of this Sitaara arrived severely malnourished and with several health ailments. With proper guidance from our veterinarian and appropriate nutrition for a tiger cub her age, (a mixture of raw meat and formula and yes, it looks and smells as appetizing as it sounds) she was able to make a beautiful recovery and is now thriving. Sitaara is very playful and curious as most young are and spends her days frolicking around her yard and practicing her hide-and-seek skills on her keepers when they pass by.
